I've done it before on several occassions with my 96 7.4L but never in Cal. Believe it's due to the additives they put in the fuel here. Best I got was over 16mpg when driving down I95 to S.C. and Ga. I guess people emailed Ben asking if it was possible or didn't believe it back then too.
: I'm convinced it's sampling error due to the low span of mileage and one fill. It will do about 12.5 at best, unless it's only downhill with the wind at my back.
