Do you mean the grid at the larger section still has the male tab, but the wire does not have the femail end lug and just wire strands?
If that is the case, easy. Just cut back the insulation and crimp on another femail lug.
Now if the male lug on the glass is gone, another matter. Both the glass and the silk screened metal grid does *NOT* like heat. Might even crack and then destroy the glass (tempered, so will blow up into billzion pieces). Have seen some who have soldered back on, but I've not ever tried.
Some serious amounts of current and have seen 30 amp fuse on rear window heater circuit. So must be very good connection.
Have micro torch that has pin point flame and gets to around 1800*F at the flame tip. Will have to noodle HOW2 on that. No place to test on tempered glass and slik screened wire grid....anyone want to let me test a potential HOW2 on theirs??? :)
