Just got my 91' V1500 back from the Chevy dealer and they installed a new Intake Manifold Gasket. As I was driving back, driving anywhere from 30 MPH to 45 MPH, when I stomped on the throttle, it would NOT downshift. I tried this at several speeds and the tranny simply did not want to down shift. Of course moving the lever to "2" and I was able to get it to downshift, however, not in "D" or "OD".
Did they miss a wire connector somewhere?
Also, they recommended a new water pump. I remember buying one from a "certified plus" dealer. Basically, I had a lifetime warrantee. even after 70K, they will install a new water pump for free!!

I found the receipt so I will bring it back tomorrow morning. Any Ideas I can tell them for the Tranny?
