I would not feel right about writing the check without hearing from the "board". I have found so much great info here that I seek your final approval.
I am going to test drive a 1990 1500 4X4 tomorrow. 145k miles. Carfax had no bad data and prretty much confirmed the miles. The body and paint is in outstanding shape for all the vehicles I have seen in this group. One fo the passenger doors has a bad pwr window/lock. Body seems very straight. Paint is exceptional. Warn Hubs.
Any tips on what I should look out for on the test drive would be VERY appreciated.
When I have test driven I generally try to get a feel for the motor. FWD/REverse shifting circle left forward/reverse circle right forward/reverse. I also test 4wd, but don't cut left or right on dry pavement
the asking price is ~ 4k. Is that good, I see prices all over the board? I am pretty sure the motor is original. What is the most I can expect out of it?
