Last week a mechanic diagnosed a burnt oil smell while driving, as a leak in one of the lines that connects between the engine block by the oil filter, and the other end screws into the radiator.
I bought new lines at the dealer today, the radiator end looks simple, unscrew the old line and screw on the new line.
The engine end of the lines look like they just plug into the block. So my question is, how to remove the old lines from the block and re-install the new lines correctly so they don't blow out when the oil pressure builds? Do these connections use O-Rings?
