Started this project today. Anyone else tried one? The power motor spools a tape that lifts the window shuttle. Not like the regulators on the Suburban doors. I'm still trying to remove the motor, but it looks like the whole tape spool/rear rail has to come out together. That means removing two more rivets, but I was hoping to leave the glass in - like on the truck.
To get the rear out, you have to remove the glass. Which means the front guide rail needs to be removed, and it won't come out from behind the side mirror.
Oh well... I think it'll have to wait for the weekend.
