Recently I replaced my power steering pump with an Oreilly's brand (due to the shaft sheering inside the pump). Steering felt 10x better after the replacement but the pump is very noisy, even at idle. Took it to my trustworthy mechanic and he said I did not bleed the PS lines very well, so he bled the system and added an additive. Problem is, it is still noisy. Old steering pump was unheard. Is there anything I can check or do, or just change pump?
