Ohhhhhhhhh, if you only knew how true that is for Maz :)
I took the family to the local mountains for a weekend of snow play, last week. Left late Friday afternoon and got stuck in a nightmare of a traffic coupled with pretty bad rain and later snow and the thickest fog I have ever seen. Normally a 1.5 hour drive took 4.5 hours. Wanted to turn back many times but friends already at the cabin kept calling us on cell phone and encouraging us not to give up. They said that they had the BBQ and all the meat variety ready waiting for me. We got there and had a hell of BBQ (in the snow). I told them what great pals they were to wait for us and the reply was a gentle reminder that all the drinks were in my truck !!! They used the BBQ as a bait to get me not to turn back.
BTW, I was kind of disappointed with the G80 (Eaton) Locking Differential performance in the snow. Of course, the street tread Bridgstone tires were not much help either.
