I'm thinking of replacing the shocks on our 2002 C1500 Suburban LS that does not have the fancy load leveling suspension. I'm interested in Monroes and Bilsteins, but I'd like to maintain the same ride quality as stock. We do tow a 24' travel trailer on occasion, but I haven't noticed any adverse towing characteristics with the stock shocks and don't feel the need to go any stiffer. I know that Monroe offers 3 different shocks for my application, but I'm confused on which ones would be best suited for us. I haven't even done research on the Bilsteins yet to see if they'd be any better than the Monroes. Any suggestions?
