Also have the quick disconnect fitting on the IM changed or swapped to a brass pipe barb. They tend to corrode and break off.
Suggest a thorough flush including pulling block plugs and chasing rear heater lines with clear water then compressed air. Great time to change the bypass hose and at least the upper radiator hose.
Use a 50/50 mix of green AF with distilled water mixed accurately before adding to system.
Allow several short trips for air to clear and watch carefully for overheating from air pockets. Carry extra AF mix with you.
Also good time to switch to a Motorad 180 degree thermostat and replace the radiator cap with either a Stant 10230 (req'd for dexcool) or 10331 (green AF only).
