I would go with Husqvarna, or Stihl. They are the two top names. Johnsereds are good too. They are a Husky with red plastic instead of orange. They come from the same factories. Personaly I prefer the Husky, because I just like the way they feel, but you can't go wrong with either. You will find that these have a better power to weight ratio, and much les vibration than lesser brands, which means a lot if you are using one for long. All the Echos I have seen have been extremely heavy for their size.
