gas powered tools

All the posts above on the 2-stroke, the problems, the adjustments, etc., is why I don't own any tool that is gas powered. Just too much hassle and maintenance for me personally. You guys sure have a lot of patience and know-how dealing with small gas engines.

I much prefer electric power tools, albeit under-powered compared to gas, with cords being a pain also. Some tools will work with 220 which is much better. I don't know if there is 220 chainsaw. The two that I have are 110.

This thinking of course puts me way below the "how many cylinders in your household" curve :)

: Yeah, i'm with you on the 2-stroke mystery. Got kinda good w/a couple machines i have but no 2 are alike.

: For the fuel/oil mix, i always use the premeasured oil bottles for 1 gallon so it's a no-brainer, which is always a good thing. I always check the fuel filter but it looks great so far.

: I'm going to try 1 more time, after that my buddy has a friend who's a seasoned small engine mechanic who's going to fix it. If it's not one thing, it's another.
