: Looks like GM may have had its arm twisted to cave in on this one(obviously for safety reasons). Just passing it on from the Truck/SUV board. Heres what he's says:
: Wow, they finally decided to recall this!! I just got the letter in the mail for all 94-97 pickups, tahoes or subs as well as 97 blazer, S10 pickups and astro vans. I had the problem a while ago. They wil even reimburse the owner if the repair has been done and you paid for it. News to me! Hope I'm not reposting anything here. Just thought I would throw out a little FYI.
