99 Suburban misses going uphill!

About a week ago Texas1234 posted that his sub misses badly going uphill. There were several folks who said that their subs do the same thing. This group of folks had changed plugs, wires, rotor, caps, and fuel filters, but the problem did not go away. I was (sort of) glad to see that I was not the only person with this problem, but I'm disappointed that no one who has solved this problem replied.

If there's someone out there who "fixed" this, please let us know how you did it!

Here's what mine does: Every time I go over steep mountains at 65-70 mph and the transmission upshifts into overdrive, my sub starts vibrating VIOLENTLY. Almost every time, I get the Check Engine light. The best way to stop the vibration is by accelerating and causing a downshift, although slowing WAY down works too. The Check Engine code clears itself in a day or two. The only time I've ever pulled the code was last week and it said "Cylinder 6 misfire detected". This has been going on for about 2.5 years. It has happened on level terrain. The usual scenario is that I'm traveling 50 mph and pass someone. The transmission downshifts for the pass, then upshifts during or after the pass. After the upshift, if I'm still on the throttle hard, it will start vibrating VIOLENTLY. I think I've adjusted my throttle application over the past two years to minimize this, but it's very disconcerting when it happens.

Ideas I've heard are injector cleanings, 02 sensors (why and how expensive?), and TCC lockup problems, but all of these are pretty expensive to "try". Has anyone experienced the same problem and fixed it?
