I'm having trouble with my driveline. If I accelerate at a modest (or better) rate while turning out of a driveway, I get a good "bang" out the rear end. It sound s like the transmission or the differential. I have a 96 K2500 with a 4L80E and a 3.73 open differential. The dealer recently told me the pinion bearing was a little loose, but it is otherwise fine. I have run Mobil 1 lube in the diff. since 8K miles. It now has 179K on it. It has the 10.5" ring gear and full floater axle. Any ideas? Are the spider gears going?
