The string method worked great getting the new switch cable in place but still no working cruise control, though the new handle looks much better than the old :>. I just ran all of the diagnostics on the Popular Mechanics CD and all is well except I have power at both brake switch terminals instead of one. CD Says I should get 12V on brown wire when brake pedal is depressed, but I have that all the time and it drops to 0 when depressed. Maybe the brake sw is bad? Still looking.....
