Pros use a stepper drillbit. It will enlarge the hole with little effort. These are made by Greenlee, and can be bought or rented from electrical supply houses. The part number on my 7/8-inch to 1 3/8-inch Greenlee Kwik Stepper is 36414 and will work perfectly to kit the body of a typical Pollak or Bargman 7-wire RV receptacle.
