You are 100% correct! I made a quick glance at the Gentex mirror and it looked like the Donnelly Corp one(the one that had compass and temp displayed at the same time, several years ago). My mistake. I almost bought the Donnelly because they showed both pieces of info at the same time. However Gentex then redesigned their mirror to include the compass and temp shown at one time.
Ultimately, I got the older Gentex mirror but it worked out great. Just for fun, I thought I might get the Donnelly one for my wife's Trooper.
Anyways, I just wrote too fast without thinking and everything you stated is correct. I realized my mistake shortly after I posted the info but I thought it would be a waste to post a 3rd time! Thanks!
