Definitely worth the cash.

Well, I personally have had great success with my warranty company. I go in with the understanding that the dealership will try to bend me over. I also know that they have probably seen most problems associated with my Suburban. You are correct about finding anything they can. However, with or without a warranty, they're going to have to justify the problem to either me or the warranty company. If they're trying to snow me, then I'll definitely ask for a price breakdown and justification. With the warranty company, they usually have a list of commonly failed components, and they will authorize for the $50 window switch. If however in my case, the $3K+ will require an inspection. The dealership will have to try to convince the warranty company (aka Basically Another Insurance Company) that they have to pay up. You have to believe that the warranty company will do all that they can to save themselves the money. I definitely believe that the warranty company has saved me money. I will definitely do this again. I have already had over $2000 in warranty work completed, not including this current dilemma. With a $0 deductible, I can go as many times as needed. I LOVE my warranty company. It definitely gives peace of mind.
