Please don't look at it as if I don't care about the $3K from the warranty company. It is the job of the warranty company to limit their loss. They do this on high dollar items by sending an inspector to verify the need for whatever the problem is. If it were me, I would definitely take the vehicle back and do a self diagnosis to verify. Again, I am there to get my vehicle back to working order. If it takes a $2 dollar part or a $3K part, I just want it back to working. After all, that's the point of the warranty company right?
