Haven't taken mine off yet (1996, owned since new), but if there isn't a bolt, then there is tab underneath the needs to be pressed or some such. Then it should pull off. If not, yes it's stuck and will need some "work", or the preload from the spring is preventing it from moving. You'll have to remove that preload by holding the arm & knuckle, then working it off.
