A good solder joint should look smooth and shiny and has no pits. In fact, the above joint is just barely acceptable because it has too much solder. It may hide some flaws below the surface.

If you are doing the soldering yourself, please read my post at the link below. A good solder joint should look like the "shiny side" of a piece of Aluminum foil. If it looks like the "dull side", the joint has been over-heated! Overheating causes metal fatigue to the solder. Vibrations will crack it! To re-do it, heat the joint to melt the solder. Use suction to remove the solder. Heat the joint again to re-solder the connection.
