It is actually NOT a poor soldering job on the boards at the onset - inspect a new one before you install it. Next time you fellows have them out to resoled, pop it back in, seat it, leave the cover off, and turn the wipers on. Then go take a look at how the motor shimmies the board as the wipers move, particularly on high speed. Then consider the harness connector is firmly held by the motor housing, but the board wiggles. This is what develops your cracking since the solder joints are the weakest link. So, doesn't matter if it is the original board, repaired board, or new board, they will all crack again! I wish I had a dollar for everyone one we swapped!
