I have an 87 Sub, with only 257K on it, and the rear barn door is already rusting out! They just don't make 'em to last anymore. Slammed the door shut a few months ago and the button in the handle popped out and hit me in the chest.
As far as anyone knows, is the handle on the barn door the same as one for the right side of the vehicle? They've got a universal/generic one at the parts house for the right side, but it doesn't mention the barn door. Parts guy didn't have a clue, either. Don't wanna waste the money if it won't fit.
