You don't say what motor the truck has, but there is a TSB for the 6 liter motor covering this problem.
The fix is an auxillary cooling fan. Check with the dealer for...

: The other day the girlfriend borrowed the 2002 2500HD and after driving awhile she stopped at a convienence store, put the truck in park(automatic), the AC was still blowing cold, then she left it idling and ran inside, minutes later when she got back in the AC was blowing warm air. When she put the vehicle in reverse the air turned back to cool and then to cold a minute or two later when she got back on the road. This just happened the one time and has not repeated. Any ideas what the problem was or what might of caused this to happen? With the truck approaching 36k in a hurry I would like to get it fixed if it is going to be a problem. Thanks for any ideas.
