FYI...I've been having some trouble with the AutoTrac indicator lights failing to illuminate based upon the switch position. 1999 Tahoe LT 4x4
Last night while driving home from the office (stuck in traffic) I was pushing and pulling on the acutal switch and gauge trim and the light went on and of when I put pressure on the edge of the switch. Kinda like when a dash light goes on and off when going over bumps before it burns out for good.
This confirms my suspicion that the actual relay switch is working (shifting the transfer case) but the indicator light is either suffering from a loose connection or the bulb is on the verge of burning out.
I can live with it for now, but at some point I'll replace the entire switch, I guess.
