Go to the dealer and replace all of the strikers, top and bottom. I replaced mine on my 91' a few years ago. I don't think its a big deal. Maybe $5 per striker or so. Over time, these strikers get hairline cracks and don't hold the rear doors in place. One of mine shattered into two pieces. I have seen other strikers actually have some of the metal material worn away, resulting in a sweaky rear end. You might as well replace all of them and move on.
