and put it on the C/K style Subs with 4L60e? If the new 2500's have it, I'm sure the new 1500's have it too. Wonder if I could order a 1500 pan/with plug for an 01 Sub and put it on my 97 Sub

: : John G.- Did you get a price on the 2001 tranny pan? Just wondering if it's worth the cost versus adding a drain plug to existing pan. (I assume this can be done.)

: I have the part number at home, and found I could order it for $25.71 from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ (don't try to search for it there, it won't come up unless you give it the part #). From a dealer it runs either $36 or $45, I can't remember. In my mind, that was cheap enough for me. I could add a drain plug, but some engineer at GM already figured out the best place for the plug to go.

: When I get the p/n from home I'll put another post out.
