Having had a detail business for awhile, and being known to be real picky about my own cars (both black-am I nuts???), a word of caution with some of this stuff.

Those of you with newer Subs should always avoid things like bug and tar removers and polishing glazes with any type of abrasive-very nasty on the domestic (read crappy) clearcoat finishes. While not as bad as those of the early to mid 80's (when the transition was to water based paints), you need to make sure what you use on your paint is clearcoat safe. When in doubt, test in an inconspicuous spot (inside of a door, under the hood). Look for clouding or scratching of the finish.

I'm sure Andy was using a safe polishing glaze, but I still see people use the wrong stuff on their paint all the time, and spend some bucks to fix it, or end up with a decaying clear coats. Clear coats are showing up on all colors now, even solids.

Any good automotive shop or detail supply house will have automotive or adhesive solvent. While safe on your car finish when directions are followed, you will need to rewax the area wiped as all remnants of wax will be removed too.

Save your old toothbrushes for those handles too-short stiffer brushes work great. Keep them away from the kids though...

Just food for thought--
