Pick up a package of Grade 0000 Steel wool and read the package. It says that grade can be used for polishing/cleaning glass. I've used it in the past and it seems to work just fine and did not scratch the glass.

: This Suburban is only a year old and I guess the water/rain here is really hard. I have tried Rain-X glass cleaner, Rain-X itself, regular glass cleaner. Is there anything that will get the spots off? In the evening when the sun is just right it's pretty hard to even see through the windshield. And if I get them off, will Rain-X or something keep this from happening again? Thanks.
