Finished changing the fluids in the Suburban this weekend. I did what some of you suggested.
Mobil 1 in the front and rear Diff and Dextron III in the transfer case and the transmission + GM filter .
I also installed the drain plug in the trans pan.
The drive line klunk seems to be gone also.
Wow. What a mess getting that pan off. Should be much easier next time with the drain plug.

One question though There must be an easyer way to fill the Diff fluid.
I did have a pump/suction type gun, almost looked like a grease gun, but it lost its seal within a few months
and after more fluid was running down my arm than going in the truck it was time to heave it.
Is there some kind of pump out there.
