Parts guy says yes, he's seen it done. Service manual says that I will have to mate the connector 90 degrees from where it is now, but the pins will match.

: 4) Do heating and dimming go together, or can they be exclusive? I could care less about heating, but I like the dimming.
They go together.
I have decided to get the plain power version. It's not worth the $225 to me to get heat and dimming. Besides, after looking closer at it last night, the heating "goo" really messed up my rub strip in less than 5 minutes between the impact and me cleaning it off. I don't want to take a chance of it somehow getting on my paint and not knowing it for hours.
I'll give another update when I install it next week to let the board know how the connectors plug up.
