Try auto parts stores or JCWhitney.
If that fails, you could take in a template to any good glass cutter and have the mirror cut out for $10 or $15 at the most. Use silicone after cleaning surfaces to adhere (at least that's what I was told to do). The silicone has held up for me and is easy to clean off if you ever need to do another replacement. You must bundle some newspaper as a pad and tape it over the mirror for a day after gluing.
: I had a good friend who crashed his mirror on his 2000 Tahoe into his garage. Mirror glass itself is shattered, the mirror housing survived. I thought I had seen here were someone had obtained just the "glass" portion somewhere. Any leads or recommendations would be helpful.
: It's kinda $$$ for the entire mirror assembly, which is what the dealer was telling he had to have.
