OK FB, did they make such an animal? It just seems strange to mix a diesel with that rear end. I know in this part of the country it's hard to find 3:42 rears in any fullsize older trucks let alone 3/4 and 1 ton. With the new gen trucks I'm seeing more 3:42's. My guess is that most people don't use trucks as trucks.
Here's another one. I have a copy of some pages from a diesel truck index for all diesels in 1989. They list a V1500 and R1500 in that book with the diesel engine. I thought the diesel was only an option in 3/4 and 1 tons. Could you get a diesel 1/2 ton?
