2000 2500 Burb Front Springs

There were 3 suspension options for my 2000 2500 2wd burb: standard (or soft); firm ride; and the autoride.

I got the standard ride and it's too bouncy, even after installing Edelbrock IAS shocks, which are pretty good.

QUESTION: Can I replace the existing from coil springs with the "firm ride" springs that were an option? What will this screw up, if anything?

Also, is it a big job assuming I have a spring compressor?
