TOOLS: big crescent wrench (and a small one taped to it to save space!), floor jack, 5 cell Maglite, ball peen hammer, rope
PARTS: serpentine belt, fuses, hose clamps, duct tape, and now adding a t-stat to this list!
FLUIDS (kept in corner of engine compartment): qt of oil, brake fluid, waterless hand cleaner
PAPER PRODUCTS: hand, ass, wet wipes

Since Miss 95Tahoe still feels "privileged" to drive the rig, I can carry a full tool box in the back! But the Metwrench set I bought a year ago was one of the best tool purchases I have EVER made. Comes in a small case and the set is so versatile, it's hard NOT to keep it under the second row seats.

: Well, after a funny conversation with Mrs. BIG BLUE, I realized that maybe (just maybe) I may have “too many” tools in the back of “her” Sub. Yeah, I know you can never have enough tools right? But, after thinking about it for a bit, I tried to narrow down to which 5 tools did I feel were a necessity for carrying in the trucks we own.

: So, I thought it would be interesting at best to find out what all the rest of the fellow Sub owners are carrying with them on a daily basis, and consider a “must have” just in case of a breakdown.

: Now, before things get goofy, let’s say you can only choose the top 5 INDIVIDUAL tools and top 5 parts. For instance, you can’t say as one choice a 150 piece socket set from Sears! And while were at it, let’s rule out the cell phone as a tool (even though it is very useful as we all know in an emergency situation) because you could easily call the Snap-On tool truck and have them deliver to you anything you would need! Or, call for a wrecker to haul the Sub to a local shop for the repairs.

: While we’re at it, let’s also include the TOP 5 parts that you feel are a must have in case of a breakdown.

: So, other than combo tool sets and cell phones, what are your TOP 5 tools and TOP 5 parts that you feel must be in the Sub at all times for that “just in case” situation.

: BTW, I haven't decided yet on my list but here are some ideas to get things started.

: TOOLS: Floor Jack, Crescent Wrench, Hammer, Jumper Cables, Cordless Drill, Breaker bar, Air pump, hose clamp, knife, etc.

: PARTS: Serpentine belt, Thermostat, 02 sensor, fuses, replacement bulbs, fuel filter, etc.

: LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!,
: BIG BLUE
