Started out with a 1940's Willys, then built a Dune Buggy (VW pan, Chevy Corvair engine/transaxle), then a 1970 Toyota FJ40, then a Chevy K5 Blazer, now a Suburban. Notice they are all getting bigger? I've broken down with just about everything there is to break and have seen some pretty weird stuff broken too (two broken thumbs on a fella who kept both his thumbs inside of the steering wheel when it hit a boulder and spun the steering wheel around so fast he couldn't get his thumbs out in time).
Point is that there's almost enough room for that RubberMaid tool box. Traveler and Walter have both seen it and think Traveler has one about the same size.

Toying with removing the OEM jack and putting in a air tank & small compressor in there. Sweetie might not like the buzzing when it's running...so it's just a noodling idea for now. Something will go in there tho...
Beside, there's still room for 8 adults and their luggage/fishing gear/etc inside and on the rack if needed. THAT is only ONE reason I own a Sub...
Try that with anything else, including an Excursion! I've looked inside and it's not as roomy as our Subs....
