You guys have come up with some fantastic lists and some items that I overlooked and will be adding to the Sub. After reading Ben's list, I simply printed it out and showed it to Mrs. BIG BLUE and that's all it took for me to keep the items in the burb. She thought I was crazy for keeping all that stuff in there for a "just in case" scenerio, but after seeing a few lists from y'all she's willing to compromise. So, thanks everyone for participating so far, this has been helpful.

Packing more,
BIG BLUE,

P.S. Between me and you, I kinda figured we'd end up with some pretty long lists (this was the plan from the begining, to show the Mrs. that I'm not the ONLY one that carries too much stuff! hehe)

: Well, after a funny conversation with Mrs. BIG BLUE, I realized that maybe (just maybe) I may have “too many” tools in the back of “her” Sub. Yeah, I know you can never have enough tools right? But, after thinking about it for a bit, I tried to narrow down to which 5 tools did I feel were a necessity for carrying in the trucks we own.

: So, I thought it would be interesting at best to find out what all the rest of the fellow Sub owners are carrying with them on a daily basis, and consider a “must have” just in case of a breakdown.

: Now, before things get goofy, let’s say you can only choose the top 5 INDIVIDUAL tools and top 5 parts. For instance, you can’t say as one choice a 150 piece socket set from Sears! And while were at it, let’s rule out the cell phone as a tool (even though it is very useful as we all know in an emergency situation) because you could easily call the Snap-On tool truck and have them deliver to you anything you would need! Or, call for a wrecker to haul the Sub to a local shop for the repairs.

: While we’re at it, let’s also include the TOP 5 parts that you feel are a must have in case of a breakdown.

: So, other than combo tool sets and cell phones, what are your TOP 5 tools and TOP 5 parts that you feel must be in the Sub at all times for that “just in case” situation.

: BTW, I haven't decided yet on my list but here are some ideas to get things started.

: TOOLS: Floor Jack, Crescent Wrench, Hammer, Jumper Cables, Cordless Drill, Breaker bar, Air pump, hose clamp, knife, etc.

: PARTS: Serpentine belt, Thermostat, 02 sensor, fuses, replacement bulbs, fuel filter, etc.

: LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!,
: BIG BLUE
