I'm interested as I'm trying to get this dang suburban of mine to pretend to be a 3/4 ton pulling machine!
(and not having much luck with the rear ends! blew a 10 bolt inside of 1st hundered miles, wrote that off to it being a used truck.... about 3000 towing miles later, discovered i was twisting axle shafts..... stumbled across a set of 4:10s with a 14 FF rear.. but now tracking down a vibration in the rear-drive train. Had it checked PRE-install, and shaft balanced today.. but something is still vibrating there around 55 & above!!! dang it!). Checked tires/rims/rotated, 180'd the drive shaft (balanced it today)... and still there! Ordered a new pinion flange/yoke flange today... another $100 in it! dang this thing!)... Sure wouldn't want to smoke this one once it's all completed!
