Does it have a bug deflector? When I bought my 97 K2500 last fall it had a strange whistle or whine at about 45 mph. I traced it to a slot between the bug deflector and the hood. I eliminated the slot with some vinal tape and the noise was gone. I think the previous owner lived with the sound for 60k miles.
