I have a 95 silverado 1/2 ton with faulty wiper motor board, upon checking with local shops find this is a common problem . To compound it all , no one has to my knowledge has really tried to find out what is going on. I suspected a cold solder joint on the printed circuit board in the area of the elec. cable connection. To test for this I removed the cover and in the dark had someone turn on the wipers, WA-LA there it was, a blue spark from a solder joint on the board. A nickles worth of solder saved me $70 bucks the normal fix cost. The PCB is mfd by ITT according to it's markings, a letter to them and GM should be in order.
