: Perhaps we could start a list or thread of stainless steel bolts that Sub owners can gradually swap out. If I have time, I may bite this off as a project as well as obtaining SS bolts/nuts in quantity. Would this interest anyone? Once I have a reasonable qty I can negotiate a heck of a deal. Not only for nuts & bolts but for a lot of stuff.

A couple of great sources for any stainless hardware you want are 1) any BIG classic car show - SS vendors ALWAYS there and CHEAP, and 2) Totally Stainless, Inc. out of Gettysburg, PA (1-800-767-4781). Totally Stainless has a 136 page catalog full of nothing but stainless fasteners of all types, shapes, sizes, threads, strengths, etc., etc... They even put together various kits for complete replacement of regular steel hardware (i.e., body kits, differential kits, etc.), and are very reasonably priced even on small quantities. Then there is also 3) the Fastenal Company headquartered out of Winona, MN with branches all over the place and an on-line store. Your really need one of their 3" thick catalogs for all of the products available because the on-line store generally has the most popular stuff (but any catalog number can be ordered on-line). They too have an exhaustive collection of stainless hardware, and are reasonably priced. You can order by the piece if you go directly to one of the branches. Hope this helps everyone - I too change out my harware with stainless!
