Hi! I'm new to this forum. I'm one of the few crazy people who drive a Suburban in Europe. I've got a bit of problem with my steering column. First things first though. '89, 1500, 350, 4x4. Now... I have tilt steering. The part of the steering column that is "tiltable" ( I would call it the "upper" part of the column) is loose. It has just started shaking back and forth and up and down in the column. The beast still seems to drive okay and turn okay, but today the wife called and said that the key wouldn't turn to start the truck. What do I replace, how do I do it and are there any special tools needed? Any and all help would be appreciated. Especially any pictures/descriptions from a manual.
