Basically the only thing 'new on the old body was the overdrive tranny 4L60/4L80 depending on 1/2 or 3/4 ton and the rear anti-lock brakes. Everthing else will be almost exactly the same as another other pre 91 sub. The rear heat is a little box mounted on the passenger side in the very back and seperate from rear AC which is mounted uptop in the very back. I actually prefer to have neither rear AC or Heat as both can be problems on older vehicles. I have a 91 1500 4x4 and love it.
