Hi folks! Another set of rear heater questions......
How functional and practical is it? Does it do a nice job of warming up the second/third row passengers?
Which seating situation makes the rear heat option MORE necessary - front bench or front buckets?
I would think that the bench acts like a wall and blocks airflow to the rear, but the gap between the buckets lets the front vent heat pass through to the second row. Is this an accurate assumption?
Sorry for continuing to throw these questions out there, but my bench seat, front heat/air Sub creates a chilly ride for my 3-year-old and my 1-year-old during the winter months. In order to throw more heat in the back, we end up roasting up front.
I prefer traveling in the Sub with the family during the winter (ours is a 4x4), but the wife argues that it doesn't get warm enough in the back for the kids. I'll happily look for another one that meets all of our needs, but want to make sure I've got the facts from everyday users on the overall practicality of the options.
Thanks again!
Anybody want to buy an '89 3/4-ton, 4x4, front heat/air, rear tailgate Sub?
