No TSB I have found for the seat. You can save a TON of money by buying the
riser assembly from somebody like Dal and doing the job yourself. Honest, I'm no

beat that by 20-30%. 8 bolts and a connector or two later, you have a whole new

The part number was 15975329 Riser Assembly. I bought mine for $329.00 in
October 99. I know GM has had a price increase (I think twice) since then.

I just bought my rotors through Jeff for about $72.00. Good price I believe!
Good guy too. I asked if I could post him on the Suburban forum and he agreed. I
have been suprised at some of the prices Jeff can quote.
The riser install will take less than an hour. I unbolted the riser (and
therefore seat) from the floor, disconnected the wires, lifted the seat out,
unbolted the riser from the seat, installed new riser and put it back with no
help. Easy job. Don't pay if you're handy!
Good Luck, I still believe that GM should reimburse all of us for this faulty
design. You are not the first multiple replacement, I'm just waiting for my
50,000 mile riser enima.

My seat was fixed under GM extended warranty and they replaced the frame too. Don't know why.
The wiper module was recalled for a few model yeras. My '95 was included but I already bought the board. Can't find the receipt to try and get reimbursed. ;(
