I just changed the rear dif. in my 99 Suburban at 19,500 miles to synthetic oil. The Cottman man told me that there was excesisve play in the pinion pin and that this would be a warrentie issue. I have had no problems to date and when I spoke with the dealer, he said that some play in this pin is normal. Has anyone found premature failure in the rear differential in their Suburbans? This is a locking dif. Thanks, Rich
