Valentine One, hands down. I've had one since early '95. Big difference in sensitivty and signal falsing over Cincinnati Microwave models (I started out in 1986 with an Escort and had a few Passport models thereafter.
I travel with one V1 (easily transfers from one rental car to the other) and have one permanently mounted in my Dodge pickup and another in the wife's Tahoe. I'm about ready to try the V1 factory upgrade on my original. It costs about $250, but that's better than paying $400+ for a new one.
My $ .02 worth....
