About 20 years ago I bought a simple one hp sears compressor on wheels. Best thing is it weighs only 60 lbs, so I can easily put it into trunk, back of YXL, etc. I take it to airplane hangar, garden, where ever. If I need more air than the 7 gal tank holds, I can plug into my 2000 watt potable generator which handles the one hp starting current (barely). I use on air tools, but not big continuous uses.
