I use a good quality brake cleaner and spray the ring and pinion and differential. ( NOT DOWN THE AXLE TUBES!) Then I let it sit for at least 15 min to dry then I CAREFULLY blown out with a commpressor, then I wait another 15 min.
F.Y.I. Traveler, I have changed my diff twice with mobil 1 and use RTV with out any leaks. Am I lucky or what!
